Happy Holidays!

I heard amazing stories about him. I wanted to meet him, this spiritual man. But he left suddenly.

My friend had bought his book and had him sign it for me before he died. His book is filled with quotes and wisdom. In between all the shopping, wrapping, and cooking, I’ve been reading his thoughts carefully placed into words on a page. This man I never had the opportunity to meet is touching my life this holiday season.

Here is a quote from Alan Arcieri: We can make our lives miserable or make it meaningful; either takes the same amount of work. The choice is ours. The worst enemy we have to deal with in life is the one we see in the mirror.

Whatever you can do, or dream
you can do, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in
~ Goethe

We count our miseries carefully
and accept our blessings without
much thought.
~ Chinese proverb

We all have many blessings. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
